Restoring dignity to Houston’s homeless
Founded in September 2019, Moving Waters is a 501(c)(3) organization committed to improving the quality of life in our unhoused brothers and sisters in the Galveston and Houston area by providing showers via a mobile shower service.
Moving Waters purchased its first shower trailer in February 2021

Our Impact
It is Moving Waters’ goal that by receiving these cleansing showers, dignity be restored in an individual and in turn effect positive change through improved mental functioning. We also work toward making a community impact in many ways:
by bridging the gap between the homeless and the housed, to serve and spread Christ’s love,
decreasing the risk of communicable diseases by providing an opportunity for good hygiene at the very place where hygiene is most needed.
is partnering with many like-minded organizations to supplement their services to reach our homeless brothers and sisters in a whole-human capacity.
Those served by Moving Waters will be provided every opportunity for dignity and positive change.
